In the beginning:

From the Stone Age to the 21st century glass has a history of functionality, versatility, and artistic expression.  My foray into glass began on a fateful Saturday in early January 2012.  It was a full day delving into the tools, science behind glass compatibility (coefficient of expansion-COE), safety, and learning that a mistrake (sic) could provide an “AHA” moment.  I’m a novice with a gazillion ideas and the time, energy, and desire to experiment.  This outlet for my creative juices will be parlayed into making one of a kind pieces of glass.  You be the judge if I've been successful.  

StarrGlassCreations.com is my way of sharing my passion for glass fusing.  Should you see something you absolutely must add to your collection of “things”---ask!  No two pieces will be identical.  After the many years of dabbling into glass fusing I am now teaching small classes.  I'm currently engaged in doing so with a non-profit organization and soon an independent living facility.  My goal is to share with others this wonderful art form.  Enjoy the journey with me.............journeywoman artist ---Linda Davis
